The Chichester Door Co

Sustainability

The Chichester Door Company takes a practical and responsible approach to sustainability on every door we fit: sensible choices that cut waste, save energy and last.

Sourced close to home

We source doors and materials locally wherever possible. Working with suppliers close to home reduces transport miles, lowers the carbon footprint of each installation and supports trusted businesses in the area.

Doors that keep the heat in

A new front door is one of the simpler ways to cut heat loss from a home. Our composite doors have a solid insulated core and high-performance glazing, and every door is fitted and sealed properly so it performs as it was designed to.

Responsibly sourced timber

Where a home calls for real wood, our timber doors can be supplied from sustainable and regenerative wood sources.

Built to last

The most sustainable door is the one that does not need replacing. We recommend door systems chosen for their durability, and install them carefully so they stay secure, weathertight and good-looking for many years.

Old doors handled properly

Taking out an old door and frame creates waste, and it is often easier to send it all to mixed waste. We choose to do it properly: licensed waste handling, with glass, uPVC and other recyclable materials separated wherever possible so they can be processed and reused, not sent to landfill.

Our waste is carried under the upper tier waste carrier registration held by our sister company, Keystone Glazing, in line with our legal obligations.
